The carers course has been created and is intended for any carer, to educate and empower them in the cycle of stress and relaxation; to teach home use touch and holding techniques, along with breathing and anxiety routines to help the carer and the person they are caring for. 

This course is designed as a multi mode learning program. There are nine parts to the course, with audio throughout, real time life experiences, videos, demonstrations and handouts for future reference. 

Within each part the learning objectives are shown prior to the section and you will have questions for each in the form of true/false and multi-choice answers. The questions are not tricky, they are based on what you hear and see in the course. You will be required to pass each section in order to move on to the next part. You can retake a section as many times as required to achieve the 100% pass rate.

Once the course has been completed you will then be able to scroll back and forth to view all the content, listen to audios, watch videos and download or print off handouts. 

The course is designed for you to take at your own pace and in your own time. However, an approximate time is between 4 – 6 hours if you are going through it in one sitting. This does depend on the individual’s learning style and pace of working. 

You have complete control over when you choose to go through the course, as the course will automatically record your progress, even if your wifi drops out and you have to log back in again. 

You will have access to the course for 90 days from the date of purchase.

You do not need to buy additional learning materials. However, there are suggestions of some items in the videos when demonstrating stroking and holding techniques which you may find helpful for the person you are caring for, such as: pillows, towels, wipes, oils etc.

You will have access to the course for 90 days from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot keep the system open for access permanently. 

If you complete the course before your allocated time you will have access up to your end date and you will be able to review the course as often as you wish to by listening to audios and watching videos. The handouts can be saved or printed off for future reference. 

Yes – if you want to purchase this course on behalf of someone else, you need to tick this box on the Checkout page. You will then be asked to also submit their details.

Once payment has been received – you will receive order confirmation, and they will receive their ‘Learning Credentials’ allowing them to login to the course using their own username and password.

Yes – if you want to bulk purchase this course on behalf of a number of students, you need to tick the ‘Enrol Multiple Students’ box on the Product page, and specify the quantity you require.

On the checkout page, you need to give your account a ‘Group Name’ and then complete payment.

Once payment is received, you will then receive an email with a link that will allow you to enrol the students into your group – and they will then receive their own login details.

PLEASE NOTE: Once a student is enrolled, they cannot be replaced by a different student at a later date.

Yes, we will be delighted to issue you a certificate of completion. The certificate is acknowledgment of your time and achievement in working through the course and learning relaxation techniques. It is not an educational certification in therapies and will not allow you to practice on members of the public or claim to be a complementary therapist.

Yes, you can receive a refund within the first 14 days of payment, however once the course is accessed you are unable to receive a refund. Please look at the terms and conditions.
